Background

maleficsimon, also known as Simon, is a traditional astrologer. Their astrology has its foundations rooted in the Hellenistic tradition.

Malefic is an astrological term given by ancient astrologers to Saturn and Mars.

Saturn and Mars are often portrayed extremely through the Hellenistic lens, however can we reimagine of our assumptions about the roles of Saturn and Mars as we engage with Hellenistic astrology?

In my day-to-day, I have a Bachelor of Communication Design and have been working in communications for a number of years. Now I want to amalgamate and uplift the way we visually communicate and experience astrology.

Techniques

I mostly focus on a myriad of techniques through a traditional scope: the seven traditional planets and rulerships, whole sign houses, essential and accidental dignity, annual profections and zodiacal releasing.

As I continue to walk along the path of learning astrology, I may employ more techniques during a consultation.

Philosophy

Harkening back to the wowing moment of discovering my own birth chart, I now can see how those pieces of the puzzle aligned so elegantly to get me here. I’ve always been curious of has this path already been laid for me, or am I laying the path for myself?

What I hope to do with you, is create a tether between these two by calling down the stars in your life and reimaging those paths.
